Discussion regarding this and It was felt by everyone Tricia had done a great job with events and her shoes were going to take a lot of filling, Marian nominated Suzie Hutchison to take over and she will consider this for next meeting. A suggestion was made that there should perhaps be an events committee set up as it was too much for 1 person to undertake. This will be discussed. Caroline proposed £100 donation for the made with love café for their hard work over the summer this was agreed by everyone. As we have new members Caroline suggested finding out if Gordon was going to continue with community council as he been busy with work past couple of months.

AOB A number of members from Faifley Against Poverty joined the meeting tonight at 6.30 pm. There was a discussion that they felt they would be more use to the community by joining the community council. This was unanimously agreed by the Community Council that this would be good for everyone. It was agreed that Caroline would check the constitution to see how many members we are allowed to have. This would be explained at the next meeting in November when the roles of the individual office bearers would be explained to the visitors. The meeting was a bit chaotic at that time with a lot of talking over each other and minute taking was difficult. Susan Allen suggested an EGM as Faifley against poverty were joining the community council. Gregor volunteered the church as a venue for another food share and this will be discussed more fully at the next meeting as Tricia was dealing with this. It was also discussed that although community council could donate to this, they couldn’t run it would need to be as a separate organisation or group.
