Minutes of meeting held on Monday 8 Jan 2018
Present: Mary McAleer, Lorraine Hamilton, John Hainey, Gerard McWhirter
Present and Apologies: none
The Chair: welcomed everyone to the meeting and wished everyone the best for the coming Year
Minutes: The previous minutes were read and approved by Lorraine and Mary
Matters arising from previous minutes: none
Treasurers Report: cheques issued this month £48 for Dec 17 and Jan 18 Hall Hire
Police Report: There was no Police in attendance
Further items:
- Members were also alerted to the Braidfield Site consultation due at the 26st January this will be held in St Andrew's parish church Melfort Ave. Concerns were raised about the SUDS mechanism and the probable traffic going into Orumry Road. These should be brought up by anyone attending this consultation'
- It was agreed an application should be made to the Community Budget for £3000 to get noticeboards for our area.
- Gerard pointed out that the Hall now had a Projector and Screen which could be used if required.
- Due to last years failure no objection will be made to the Kilbowie Road Walk
- PCommunity Links are holding an open day on the 18/01/18

Present: Mary McAleer, Lorraine Hamilton, P. C. Nicola Neeson Police Scotland John Hainey, Gerard McWhirter, Brian McQuillan woe
Present and Apologies: none
The Chair: welcome everyone to the meeting.
Minutes: Meeting was Inquorate no minutes taken
Matters arising: none
Treasurers Report: cheques issued this month £24 for May 18 Hall Hire
Police Report: P C Neeson gave a report. Drumry & Linnvale had 46 (14) reported crimes, these consisted of 18 Theft, 5 Drug, 2 serious assault, it was also reported that Linnvale School had had a serious act of vandalism where their Poly-tunnel had been attacked. Extra Police Patrols were being organised for this area.
Brian McQuillan: Brian from WDC Your Community informed us that they were organising a Community Event which will take place later in the Summer and should help in recruiting more members for Community Councils. He also gave some notes on the People at WDC responsible for Community Councils.
Further items: After a Vote Moved By Lorraine and Seconded by Mary it.was decided that the AGM would take place after the Summer Recess in September.
