Mobile library service
Mobile library service provides for areas in our communities not in the vicinity of our libraries.
If you have any enquiries, or would like to request a new stop, please contact our Mobile Library team.
Services Available
At any given time, the mobile library can carry over 2000 items for loan. In general we keep it stocked with a wide range:
- adult and children's fiction and non-fiction books
- large print books
- talking books on CD
The mobile has easy access for anyone who might struggle with stairs.
Free Requests
Remember that it's free to reserve an item from ANY of our libraries. You can even ask for it to be delivered on the mobile library next time it visits!

Mobile School Service
West Dunbartonshire Libraries operate a School Mobile Library service. Which provides a library service to the local primary and specialist schools in our local communities.
