Active Schools Young Sports Stars of the Month 
Our Young Sports Stars of the month for August are all from Aitkenbar PS:
L-R: Leah Bell, Arran Graham, Chloe Gallagher, Chloe McGill, Cole McGuigan and Lucy McAleaney.
Leah is very positive and hard-working and has been a fantastic ambassador for the Aitkenbar netball squad during her time at the school, representing them at the WDSG Finals.
Arran is extremely motivated and has competed regularly in badminton on a national scale and continues to improve.
Chloe G is a very enthusiastic pupil and competes in various dance competitions across the country, winning awards and medals and is always keen to improve.
Chloe M is another great ambassador and a very talented dancer, training 5 nights a week and competing up and down the country.
Cole attended several sports clubs at Aitkenbar and was a great all-round sportsman during his time at the school, competing in WDSG Netball and Football events.
Lucy is the schools' youngest Sports Star of the Month and another fantastic dancer, winning competitions across the UK.
