Grass cutting and ground maintenance

Changes to grass cutting operations

The Council agreed that the grass cutting budget would be reduced for 2018/19. In order to achieve this we have changed the frequency of some of our operations:

  • Ceased cutting some areas to encourage Bio-diversity.
  • Ceased maintaining bankings that are difficult to cut.
  • Changed weekly grass cutting to fortnightly and fortnightly grass cutting to three weekly.
