Patricia studied Sculpture at Glasgow School of Art and is a long retired Arts & Crafts teacher who spent her final ten years of teaching working with both men and women in several Scottish prisons.

She has been a member of Dumbarton based Makepeace Quilters since it’s inception 26 years ago. She has taught City & Guilds Patchwork & Quilting , and previously achieved a Gold and two Silver awards at the annual Scottish Quilt Show held in the SECC, Glasgow.

Patricia’s body of work includes traditional bed quilts, pictorial wall quilts and a little known delicate hand-stitched French white work, bring the UKs only teacher of the technique. She is enthusiastic about making, teaching and speaking about quilts and quilt-making, stitching, and textiles in general.
