Skylark IX in Stitches (where is this and how can they get involved?)

Group members will show kindness by buying food items for the Evangelical Church to serve at their soup kitchen. Such as ingredients to make soup from, or cakes that can be served with the tea and coffee.

Veterans 5A Alexander St Alexandria (How can they get involved?)

An open day they will be provide a free tea/coffee and a biscuit.  Play games like dominoes, cribbage and other card games. The aim of this is to reduce social isolation and loneliness within their community.

There will be a nest box building event.

To tie in with kindness day the colouring in table will be themed around kindness and a pledge tree/wall where people can leave a statement about what they'll do to share/spread kindness will be set up.

Refreshments will be offered as part of the event.

Clifftop Project

Clifftop project will leave products in the Phoenix. This will be colouring in postcards that people can fill in and then post to someone as a message of kindness.

Carers of West Dunbartonshire

Each member of staff will perform one random act of kindness from now to 13th November, which will be collated into a social media thread.

The fantastic Diz, is the Phoenix wellbeing officer is hosting a free evening looking at how we can look after ourselves on the outside as well as the inside. You will get makeup tips and be shown a demonstration on how to do makeup.

Are going to  record some short video and edit them together in a vlog style or a TikTok

As examples of all the small acts of kindness they see every day in their project between, staff, participants, partners etc.

Awestruck Academy

Awestruck is an Art, music and gaming centre.  This project works with young people to develop skills and confidence in different arts.   Awestruck Academy will provide free soup and toasties to celebrate kindness day within their venue. Unfortunately there is no disabled access to venue.

Street Connect

Street Connect is a Christian Charity supporting vulnerable residents.  They provide food bags plus they offer a free cup of tea and a biscuit; giving people the opportunity to meet others and  have a chat.  This helps build relationships by reducing social isolation within our communities.

Golden Friendship

Golden Friendships are promoting their campaign to tackle loneliness in our community. They will be collecting donations so they can give 750 pensioners or people who are lonely a FREE Christmas party.  This will include dinner, entertainment and gifts.  They also aim to put on a FREE Christmas grotto and give kids a chance to meet Santa and receive a gift.  They hope to spread a little kindness throughout the community and lift spirits.

The young people will share all there acts of kindness via video, pictures, stories etc. via on our social media platforms.

The Young people have been working on post cards of positivity for the community which will be placed in areas through the community. The group will create jars of positivity which will be placed in local shops for the community to collect when shopping.
