Clydebank Town Centre

Clydebank Home Page

Clydebank has several ongoing regeneration projects inspired, in part, by the 2021 Clydebank Development Framework. In addition, in 2023 the town was selected to receive £20 million investment over the next decade as part of the UK Government’s Long Term Plan for Towns initiative. This will involve the Council working alongside a ‘Town Board’ to deliver further positive change focused on local priorities.

Clydebank Development Framework

The Clydebank Development Framework was published in 2021.

Clydebank Activity Centre

The new Activity Centre will bring more activity into the town centre and make better use of the canal.

Queens Quay

Located on the riverfront, to the south of the town centre, Queens Quay is one of the most significant regeneration projects in west-central Scotland.

Long Term Plan for Towns

Clydebank is one of seven Scottish towns to receive funding from the UK Government Long-Term Plan for Towns.

Sylvania Way - completed 2021

Improvements to the Sylvania Way public realm were completed in early 2021.

Connecting Clydebank – completed 2022

The Connecting Clydebank project created essential links between Queen’s Quay and the wider Clydebank town centre.
